With a fleet of more than 6,000 vehicles, Go-Ahead is the largest bus operator in London and plays a key role in the public transport system of the British capital. The company pursues a long-term strategy to decarbonise its transport services. In addition to the United Kingdom, Go-Ahead is also active in Ireland, Scandinavia, Singapore and Australia.
Part of the investment financing provided will be used to expand the electric bus fleet in London and other regions of the United Kingdom. The aim is to gradually transition from conventional to low-emission propulsion technologies. In addition, depots are to be modernised and expanded. These investments will ensure that technical infrastructure is adapted to the requirements of an increasingly electrified vehicle fleet.
