Confirmations

What deadlines apply?

In a T+1 environment, confirmations should be transmitted as soon as possible after trade execution in an electronic, standardized, and machine-readable format.

The information required for confirmation should generally be exchanged no later than 11:00 p.m. on the trade date (T) to allow sufficient time for the subsequent matching, confirmation, and settlement processes ahead of settlement on the following business day (T+1).

Effective 3 October 2026, the inclusion of the PSET (Place of Settlement) in Trade Confirmations will be mandatory.
The PSET identifies the settlement location designated for the settlement of the transaction.

Example: DAKVDEFFXXX (Clearstream Banking Frankfurt)

This information is required to route the transaction to the correct settlement location and to ensure smooth straight-through processing.
We therefore kindly request that you adapt your systems and processes accordingly. Trade Confirmations that do not contain a valid PSET code cannot be processed electronically.

What solutions does NORD/LB offer?
