11/18/2025 - NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank, together with Commerzbank, has arranged a financing package for Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) – the operator of Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER). The total amount of the financing is €1.2 billion. NORD/LB is contributing a substantial share to the overall project. The funds will be used to refinance existing liabilities. The new loan has a term of five years. In addition to NORD/LB, eleven other national and international banks have participated in the financing. The strong interest from the banking sector is evident in the fact that the financing was significantly oversubscribed.
