Funding Strategy

The primary goals of NORD/LB’s funding strategy are securing and diversifying of its funding base, the optimization of refinancing costs and compliance with regulatory key figures.

The bank's green bond program also anchors the topic of sustainability in its funding strategy and thus also serves to expand the investor base.

Funding Plan

2023: Three successful benchmarks (two covered bonds and debut Green Senior Preferred) & strong savings banks network sales
2024: Intensification of funding activities and expansion of the product approach up to Tier 2
Successful start to 2024, establishment as a frequent issuer and continuation of the “Green Bond Story”
