Thomas Bürkle
Thomas Stephan Bürkle, born in 1953 in Freiburg/Breisgau, has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 1 January 2017.
He is responsible for the managing board staff/communication/participations, legal, Group organisation/HR, auditing, structured finance and aviation finance & investment solutions. He is also responsible for UK relationships with the London branch.
Christoph Dieng
Christoph Dieng, born in 1967 in Bad Schussenried, has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 3 February 2017.
As Chief Risk Officer (CRO), he is responsible for credit risk management, special credit and portfolio optimization, risk controlling and research/economics. He is also responsible for the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Funding Institute and for relationships in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Additionally he is in charge of the bank’s US relationships and the NORD/LB office in New York. Previously (2007 to 2016), Dieng was responsible for credit risk management and credit portfolio management for the NORD/LB Group as Chief Credit Risk Officer.

Christoph Schulz
Christoph Schulz, born in 1960 in Hamburg, has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 1 September 2006.
He was also appointed Chair of the Managing Board at Braunschweigische Landessparkasse (BLSK) with effect from 2 January 2008. Schulz is responsible for the private and commercial customers (BLSK/NORD/LB), BLSK corporate customers, savings banks network customers, commercial real estate customers and BLSK retail management segments. He is also responsible for the relationship with Braunschweigische Landessparkasse.
Olof Seidel
Olof Seidel, born in 1968 in Tuttlingen (Baden-Württemberg), has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 1 January 2020.
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), he is responsible for the business management & operations, credit services retail, bank management/finances, group IT and compliance/group security segments. Seidel is also responsible for the NORD/LB 2024 transformation programme and for relationships with the Asian overseas branches in Singapore and Shanghai.
Günter Tallner
Günter Tallner, born in 1962 in Nuremberg, has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 3 February 2017.
He is responsible for the corporate customers, treasury and markets segments. He is also responsible for the Saxony-Anhalt Investment Bank and relationships with Saxony-Anhalt.

Currently 100% in the hands of public sector owners
As a bank under public law, NORD/LB is fully owned by public sector owners. The federal state of Lower Saxony is the majority shareholder of the bank with 55.15 per cent. Other owners include the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, the security system of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe (through two trust companies), the Saxony-Anhalt Savings Bank Holding Association and the Special Purpose Holding Association of the Mecklenbug-Western Pommerania Savings Banks.
